East Midland Trains have attempted to ease overcrowding on Skegness services during the Summer of 2008 by running trains formed of two or more units. On Saturday 23 August 2008, Class 156 unit no. 156410 and Class 158 unit no. 158857 arrive at the time honoured former Great Northern Railway outpost of Skegness station with the 1150 service from Nottingham. |
