This is a mega rare Prototype Hornby R.859 Black Five loco, it has the prototype large tender pin coupling that was the forerunner to the modern tender-loco pin style coupling used today. The large pin coupling wasn't a sucess and only a handfull of Black Fives recieved this loco-tender coupling, it was changed to a smaller sort later on. |
